The name of your gîte comes its original use. You are in the old saddlery.
La sellerie (saddlery) was the place where the saddles and the reins were kept... the equipment necessary for horses and their riders.
Today there are no more horses on the estate but in Les Landes there are many horse riding centres where you can ride a horse in the forest or on the beach at sunset.
